Schedule:
- Billable hours minimum expectation of 1,800, hybrid/flexible WFH schedule.
Salary:
- $145k - $165k+ commesurate with experience and annual billables bonus of up to $50k in bonuses + fully comprehensive benefits, healthcare coverage, PTO.

The firm has open positions for the following opportunity at their offices based in either San Francsico, CA. The practice centers on insurance, reinsurance, and various other matters spanning across transactional & regulatory compliance servicing sophisticated and bespoke institutional clients.
About the Role:
- Handle complex insurance coverage litigation, including commercial first‑party insurance, reinsurance, third‑party liability, professional liability, and bad faith coverage disputes.
- Take ownership of motion practice, coverage opinions, discovery, and client communications as part of a collaborative team in a nationally prominent practice.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
- Admission to practice law in the state of California
- At least 3 years of experience in the private practice of law.
- Complex Insurance Defense caseload experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Admission to multiple U.S. jursidictions (i.e. CA & WA).
- Litigation experience handling insurance coverage matters, with substantial experience in all phases of litigation from pre-litigation management through motion practice and settlement or trial phase.
- Superb legal writing skill and forensic legal analysis and research proficieny.
- Clear platform for long‑term career development within a firm that is nationally and internationally recognized in insurance and reinsurance, and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
