SYSTRA is GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

 

We are seeking applications for the role Junior Engineer (Design) in Kochi Metro Project.

Missions/Main Duties

Review the previous and on-going related studies and data collected

Review and approve conceptual drawings for viaduct, at grade, underground, special bridge (If any, cross –over, long spans), stations, and other structures that would be submitted by the contractors.

Review and approve all the designs and drawings, modifications calculations etc., that would be submitted by the contractors.

Review all civil and structural designs submitted by contractors as per the contractual provisions, including, the calculations, drawings, specifications, as required

Coordinate with all experts / staff related to Civil, Structural, Building, Architectural works and Systems.

Other tasks that would be assigned by the Team Leader

Profile/Skills

• Post Graduate (ME/M.Tech) in Structural Engineering from a reputed institution
• Minimum experience of 5 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 2 years experience should be in similar role in the design of elevated Metro Rail projects / rail based transit elevated viaduct projects.
• Proficiency in STAAD, MIDAS, AutoCAD
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
