US Hours - Credit/Market Risk Analyst (Technical) - Python/SQL

Overview

We are currently looking for a Risk Business Analyst with SQL and Python skills to join our growing team. We are able to offer fully remote position anywhere in Poland. This will be a US hours position, working 1pm - 9pm CET.

Responsibilities

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:

• Collect and translate business requirements for market risk management into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Designing solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders and development teams
• Analyze market risk datasets to detect and address data quality issues, discrepancies, and anomalies in production data.
• Utilize SQL and Python to investigate and resolve data quality issues from various sources.
• Assist in tracking and removing impediments to enhance team performance and foster continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
• 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role within financial industry
• Advanced SQL and Python skills required
• Market/Credit Risk background
• Excellent data analysis skills
• Product knowledge (banking and securities)
• Experience in OTC Derivatives
• Demonstrated independence, teamwork and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority 
• Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
