In a nutshell:

Associate (Consulting) at Zenon is responsible for delivery on client projects. She/ he works closely with the client to design, develop and implement cutting-edge analytics solutions for a variety of business problems. She/ he is responsible for overall management of the project, including client stakeholder management, managing cross-functional project team and their deliverables.

Additionally, she/ he would also get the opportunity work closely with senior leaders and sales teams in business development, presales, solution design activities.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to understand complex machine learning solutions and effectively translate them to business solutions delivering tangible impact.

The role of an Associate (Consulting) is a critical one at Zenon; we only consider candidates with strong academic and work credentials and a track record of successfully managing projects and teams.

What will you do? 

•    Engage with clients to understand their business needs, define problem statement(s) and lead problem solving

•    Lead a high functioning and results-driven cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art analytics solutions to drive business strategy and solve challenging problems

•    Responsibilities include project management; develop hypothesis, run experiments for empirical insights and validate hypothesis; generate insights and develop recommendations; create powerful storylines to communicate solutions effectively; problem structuring and problem solving

•    Build deep client relationships, become a thought partner; anticipate client needs and business problem and do proactive solutioning

•    Manage expectations & coordination with multiple stakeholders including clients, data scientists, software/ automation engineers and account teams, ensure timely delivery and value creation

•    Work with Zenon leadership on account growth and business development proposals

•    Build an understanding of newest trends and incorporate in a compelling manner into new pitches and presales discussions across a variety of use cases

What are we looking for?

•    4-6 years of experience in management consulting/ product management/ analytical roles

•    Educational qualifications (any 1):

1.   Strong academic background with a major in Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistics from tier 1 institutes (top IITs/ BITs) or MBA from institutes like IIMs/ ISB
2.  Bachelor’s in business degrees e.g. BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) etc. from reputed colleges e.g. Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (CBS), Delhi University
3.  BSc./ MSc. degrees in Sciences/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operations Research (OR) from top tier institutes - Delhi School of Economics, Madras School of Economics, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) etc.

•    Demonstrated experience of managing analytics/ consulting projects, strong multi-tasking skills, keen sense of prioritization, good thought leadership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

•    Strong communication and articulation skills

•    Demonstrated experience of running detailed quantitative analysis, interpreting data and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders at all levels

•    Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills

•    Hands-on coding experience in SQL/ SAS/ Python/ R (any 1) and willingness to learn new analytics tools and techniques when required

‘Good-to-have’ skills:

•    Experience in marketing analytics, Market Mix Modeling (MMM), digital analytics, and Excel VBA

•    Experience in managing global analytics teams in multiple locations is preferred

•    Being conversant with AI and ML concepts will be a plus
