As a Sales Specialist for Stryker’s MedSurg portfolio, you will drive growth across key territories—including Kuala Lumpur/Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, and Pahang—by delivering meaningful solutions to hospitals and healthcare professionals. What You Will Do
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and provide accurate sales updates and forecasts for assigned territories.
- Conduct product presentations, evaluations, and in‑service training in operating theatres to support product adoption and expand the sales funnel.
- Identify business opportunities and develop account strategies to drive territory growth.
- Manage tender submissions, documentation, and responses to RFQs.
- Track and report market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support commercial decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders, including surgeons, nurse managers, biomedical teams, and procurement departments.
- Execute local sales strategies aligned with national MedSurg business objectives.
- Prepare periodic sales performance analysis, highlighting results, forecasts, and critical issues.
- Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, conferences, and other key customer events.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience. Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for Senior Sales Specialist position
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territories.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in medical devices, orthopedics, or medical equipment.
- Experience supporting product demonstrations or cases in operating theatres, especially in Orthopedics or Neurosurgery.
