034882 Senior Sales Executive (Open)Job Description:
Lead and grow a defined sales portfolio by driving revenue, expanding customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities that align with Greif’s strategic goals. This role is responsible for managing complex sales opportunities, understanding customer technical and commercial requirements, and delivering tailored packaging solutions that create value for clients. The Senior Sales Executive also serves as a trusted advisor to customers and provides coaching, guidance, and day-to-day support to Junior and Mid-Level Sales Executives to strengthen overall team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts using internal tools and conducting customer visits to ensure annual targets defined in the Budget are achieved.
- Identify new business opportunities by prospecting new customers, reviewing pricing, optimizing product mix, passing through additional costs, and improving payment terms to enhance GREIF's profitability.
- Monitor competitors by analyzing customer portfolio performance and gathering market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and monitor Budget target achievement through management reports, ensuring goals are met and, whenever possible, exceeded.
- Develop the annual sales Budget by analyzing historical sales performance, market trends, and risk assessments to forecast the company's annual revenue.
- Manage a customer portfolio with annual revenue of up to BRL 50 million.
- Review pricing on a quarterly or monthly basis to align prices with cost fluctuations and maximize company profitability.
- Prepare bids (BIDs) and quotations by developing pricing proposals in accordance with the GPX-based pricing policy for account maintenance, price adjustments, and new business opportunities.
- Maintain customer relationships through emails, phone calls, and on-site visits for account management, prospecting, negotiations, and product/service promotion.
- Prepare customer visit reports to document market insights and business opportunities, updating the CRM system on a weekly basis.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and telephone to address their needs and maintain strong commercial relationships.
- Present monthly and fiscal year-to-date (FY) performance results to senior management, analyzing revenue, market performance, and profitability (PMDB) to support portfolio management.

- Completed higher education degree
- Advanced English, Spanish preferred
- Availability to travel
- Experience managing teams and experience in an industrial environment are considered a plus.
