Process Overview*

Leads the development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company’s consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. Manages the bank’s award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Digital, Online, Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, Payments and Commerce, Fraud, Financial Center and Architecture Technologies.

Job Description*

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in modern full-stack application development using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Microservices, APIs), Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kafka), and Angular/TypeScript frameworks. Experience with cloud-native technologies including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern integration patterns using REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and event-driven architecture is essential.

The candidate should also be proficient in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies, including Azure OpenAI, AI Agents, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Semantic Search, and Vector Databases, along with implementing AI solutions using frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, ML.NET, and LangChain4j.

Additionally, hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, Git-based version control, security scanning tools, database technologies, observability platforms, and Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) is required to build scalable, secure, resilient, and enterprise-grade applications.

Candidate will be part of Global Delivery model and responsible to apply industry proven development approaches to achieve scalable, maintainable & reusable applications.

Responsibilities*

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications aligned with strategic technology and business objectives.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex features and modernization initiatives across one or multiple Agile teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define solution requirements and technical roadmaps.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, AI capabilities, and engineering best practices to improve solution effectiveness and delivery efficiency.
• Establish and promote architecture standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and engineering best practices across teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable frameworks, shared services, APIs, and core components to accelerate development and improve consistency.
• Lead DevOps adoption by implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery practices.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing to improve engineering excellence.
• Define and drive test strategies, quality standards, automation frameworks, and performance engineering practices to ensure reliable and resilient solutions.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, accessibility (ADA/WCAG), risk, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Support Agile planning, estimation, release management, stakeholder governance, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

• Strong expertise in object-oriented design, software engineering principles, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Proficiency in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Microservices) and/or Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka) development.
• Hands-on experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive web application development.
• Solid understanding of multi-tier, distributed, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, asynchronous messaging, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in solution design, code reviews, technical documentation, and application modernization initiatives.
• Experience developing highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication/authorization mechanisms, secure coding practices.
• Experience with software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, automation, performance, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and SDLC processes, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog management, and release planning.
• Proficiency in source control management using Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, release management, and DevOps best practices.
• Ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and architectural gaps while driving mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working within global delivery models and collaborating across geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, influence design decisions, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG/ADA), usability standards, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering excellence and best practices.
• Knowledge of business processes, customer servicing platforms, and enterprise application ecosystems in large-scale organizations.

 Desired skills

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Native technologies including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and Serverless platforms.
• Expertise in DevOps, CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and release automation.
• Experience implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including Azure OpenAI, AI Agents, RAG, Semantic Search, Prompt Engineering, and Vector Databases.
• Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring platforms such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics.

• Experience creating reusable frameworks, shared services, and engineering standards across multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, mentoring, and technical coaching skills.

• Understanding of banking, financial services, customer servicing, and contact center technology ecosystems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within a Global Delivery Model and delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
