Why this role matters
As our Vice President Project Finance & Investments you will lead regional Project Finance & Investments, including financing strategy, investment analysis and capital structure to enable and deliver on the regional strategy. For Europe, this includes expanding from predominantly stand-alone project finance towards multi-asset, portfolio and HoldCo financing, while integrating financing with portfolio-thinking, offtake structuring and managing of merchant risk.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and inspire the regional Project Finance & Investments team, driving performance and collaboration.
- Shape investment decisions through insightful financial modelling, valuation, and analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize business cases for new opportunities.
- Lead financing processes from early-stage development through to successful financial close.
- Structure and execute project, portfolio, acquisition, and refinancing transactions.
- Support the growth of Scatec’s renewable energy portfolio through project development and M&A activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, DFIs, and other financing partners.
- Contribute to regional strategy as a trusted member of the Regional Management Team.
- Ensure high standards of governance, risk management, and investment discipline across the portfolio.
- Develop, coach, and empower a high-performing team of project finance professionals.

What you’ll bring
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar University level education
- 10+ years background in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance or M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions)
- 10+ years’ experience in complex financial modelling using MS Excel
- Language: fluent both written and spoken in English
- Closed multiple Project Finance transactions
- People management experience
- Experience from lender and borrower side
- Experience with structuring project equity
- Worked in/with renewable energy
