Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows-based systems in a secure environment. The candidate will possess a Security+ certification and an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI and SAP eligibility. Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) within the last three years is highly desirable. technical and non-technical stakeholders in both independent and team settings. This role is an in-person role that is co-located with our government customer’s organization at WPAFB. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations. Perform system hardening and security audits to ensure compliance with established security policies. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Implement and maintain system backups and disaster recovery procedures. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python). Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure system stability and availability. Provide technical support to end-users. Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in systems administration. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures. Qualifications Required: CompTIA Security+ Certification Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility Working knowledge of Windows server administration. Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning. Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python preferred). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3+ years of experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu). Preferred: Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) within the last 3 years. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). RHCSA Certification. Linux+ Certification. 6+ years of relevant IT experience and Bachelor’s degree in related field OR 4+ years of relevant IT experience and Master’s degree in related field. Travel: Occasional travel may be required. Work Environment: This is a 100% on-site position. #LI-MM1
