Task 1: Parking Inventory Assessment
- Identify all public and private parking facilities within a reasonable walking distance of the new building location.
- Determine the number of parking spaces available at each facility and assess current utilization rates, where information is available.
- Evaluate accessibility, operating hours, restrictions, security, and suitability for student use.
Task 2: Vendor Engagement and Stakeholder Consultation
- Contact and engage with parking lot owners, operators, property managers, and relevant stakeholders to determine available parking capacity.
- Assess the willingness of parking providers to enter into agreements for reserved or dedicated parking spaces.
- Gather information regarding pricing structures, contract terms, permit options, and availability timelines.
Task 3: Summary Presentation
- Identify and compare potential parking solutions capable of supporting the requirement for approximately one hundred and eighty (180) student parking spaces.
- Evaluate each option based on distance from the facility, cost, availability, accessibility, contractual flexibility, and operational feasibility.
- Identify risks, constraints, and limitations associated with each option.
Task 4: Final Recommendations
- Provide recommendations for the most suitable parking solution(s) based on the Client's requirements.
- Outline negotiation opportunities, potential partnerships, and strategies for securing parking capacity.
