Introduction to the Team

Travel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners, including hotels, airlines, destination marketing organizations, and more, deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We create growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply, travel media, and affiliate solutions.

As Manager—Hotel Partner Solutions, you will lead a team of analysts and technical professionals who deliver solutions supporting hotel partners and business priorities. You will connect technology decisions to partner needs, guide multi-quarter projects, and create an environment that supports collaboration, development, and meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direction, coaching, feedback, and technical guidance to a team of analysts and individual contributors.
  • Establish team goals, clarify roles and accountabilities, and connect daily work to business priorities.
  • Lead delivery across multiple well-defined, multi-quarter projects.
  • Serve as a technical lead for a defined domain and select appropriate technologies for business and partner needs.
  • Partner with Product teams to develop and deliver roadmaps.
  • Oversee operational support activities, service performance, response trends, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology, processes, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Plan team capacity and allocate financial, material, and technical resources responsibly.
  • Build trusted relationships with hotel partners and internal stakeholders by understanding needs and communicating practical solutions.
  • Hire, onboard, recognize, and develop team members while supporting professional growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, communicate team status, and surface risks, dependencies, and opportunities for simplification.
  • Contribute to product reviews, communities of practice, and the product development lifecycle from idea through launch and ongoing improvement.

Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of related experience with a master’s degree.
  • 1–3 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, feedback, performance support, and workload planning.
  • Experience leading at least three multi-quarter projects as a technical lead or equivalent individual contributor.
  • Experience with multiple technology implementations and selecting technologies for specific business or partner needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or equivalent related professional experience; technical degree preferred, including Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proficient communication skills and the ability to connect technical concepts with business priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting hotel, hospitality, travel, or partner-facing technology solutions.
  • Experience partnering with Product teams on roadmaps and product development.
  • Experience supporting technology operations or service management.
  • Experience identifying process improvements and using metrics to evaluate outcomes.
