About the role
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Internal Salesperson to join our Sunshine West branch.
In this varied, hands-on role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing support with product selection, pricing, stock availability, orders, and deliveries. You will also work extensively with our Driveline/Hardy Spicer business, assisting customers with relevant products and solutions.
You’ll also assist with branch administration, showroom promotions, and occasional picking and packing. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused team player with a practical, solution-driven approach.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide counter sales and assistance.
- Assisting with general branch support and administration.
- Building relationship with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery, and account queries.
- Some warehouse duties- picking & packing customer orders.
- Assisting in developing and implementing showroom promotional activity to drive counter sales.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in internal sales, customer service, administration, and/or warehouse operations.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Confidence using computers, including Outlook and business systems
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A current driver’s license and reliable transport
- Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with driveshafts and related components, hydraulic hoses and fittings, and pneumatic systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A willingness to learn, participate in training and contribute positively to the team
- A strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality standards
