What You'll Do
Build Strong Dealer Partnerships
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned auto dealerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealer owners, general managers, finance managers, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular dealer visits to support business growth and strengthen partnerships.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on financing solutions, programs, and processes.
Drive Business Growth
- Execute business development strategies to increase Oriental's presence and market share within assigned dealerships.
- Identify opportunities to grow loan production and increase dealer penetration.
- Support the timely closing and funding of auto loan transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an outstanding dealer and customer experience.
Deliver Exceptional Service
- Respond promptly to dealer needs and help resolve issues effectively.
- Work closely with Credit, Operations, Floor Plan, Retail, and Business Support teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Support branch teams through product training and referral opportunities.
Monitor Industry Trends
- Stay informed about market developments, competitor activity, and automotive industry trends.
- Provide insights that support business decisions and growth opportunities.
- Maintain dealer documentation and records in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, automotive, banking, insurance, lending, dealer operations, customer service, or relationship management.
- Strong sales, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, dealership operations, vehicle financing, or consumer lending.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business technology applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Experience
- Automotive sales or dealership operations.
- Auto financing, indirect lending, or consumer lending.
- Insurance sales within the automotive industry.
- Credit analysis or banking experience.
- Established relationships within Puerto Rico's automotive market.
