Description
Viera Builders, Inc. has an opening for an entry level part-time*, hourly paid Interior Design Receptionist working in a fast paced, professional environment. This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Design Studio lobby appearance, inventory of Design Studio samples, walk-in traffic, and supporting the Design Coordinators, Design Lead and Director of Design.
*Employee must be available during the work hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:30 am to 7:00 pm on Monday for Design Preview.
Duties include:
- Provide initial customer service at the front desk by answering phones, greeting buyers and offering refreshments. Responsible for creating the sign to display buyers' information.
- Manages the PowerPoint preparation process for Pre-Construction Meetings, oversees the appearance and organization of the Design Studio sales floor, and coordinates the replacement and updating of discontinued or revised display products and samples.
- Manages the Design Preview process by conducting Design Studio tours, educating buyers on available design options, responding to questions with accurate information, and providing a professional and exceptional customer experience throughout the preview.
- Responsible for opening and closing the Design Studio and maintaining tidiness in the design studio to include the lobby and conference room.
- Assist the Design Coordinators, Design Lead and Director of Design with other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A High School diploma and a minimum of one or more years in design or industry related experience. Experience in new home construction preferred. Prior office receptionist experience preferred. Excellent organizational and administrative skills; strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal); friendly and professional demeanor; experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
