Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Monitoring in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while helping maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents and security-related observations.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a professional environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
