PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Operations Assistant to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our location in The Woodlands, TX.

The Operations Assistant is responsible for scheduling/assisting the movement of renewable diesel products and/or feedstocks via various methods of transportation:  waterborne, rail, truck.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule and understand the full supply chain of inbound feedstocks and outbound renewable diesel/products via various methods of transportation including waterborne, rail and truck
• Communicate with the refinery and Traders on inventory levels, production forecasts, purchase, and sales obligations
• Understand contracts including logistics, quantity and quality.
• Understand and accrue all secondary costs for purchase and sales obligations
• Review and approve vendor/supplier invoices
• Input data into RightAngle system in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist accounting with issues/adjustments as needed
• Understand payment terms of contracts and applying those terms to cash forecasting reports with accounting
• Coordinate compliance documentation with vendor and compliance team
• Other duties as assigned

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Business or related discipline; prefer Supply Chain Management
• 0+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain or scheduling environment with commodity products preferably in the agriculture/oil/energy industry is a plus
• Detail oriented, strong organization skills, good time management skills
• Experience working in an environment interacting with internal and external customers is a plus
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills preferred
• ERP System experience, RightAngle preferred
• This position is on site 5 days a week
