Program Financial Analyst

We’re looking for a driven Financial Analyst who’s excited to partner with some of the brightest professionals across the country to deliver innovative, end‑to‑end solutions that support our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer and the National Airspace System’s Integration Support Contract (NISC) Program.

In this role, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, diverse environment with the flexibility to balance time between our Washington, D.C. office (one day per week) and your home workspace. You’ll be supported by leadership that genuinely invests in your growth, encourages fresh ideas, and values proactive problem‑solving.

What You’ll Do You will be a trusted financial partner to the RITES (Real Estate, IT, Engineering & Support Services) and Spectrum Groups, contributing to the accurate, timely, and insightful financial management of FAA task orders. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed, accurate monthly FAA invoices and thoughtful substantiation
  
• Recommending improvements to invoice accuracy and cost support
  
• Tracking billing lags, journal entries, and resolving withheld invoice lines and timecard corrections
• Supporting task order development, pricing, and funding management.
• Participating in weekly ODC & Travel reconciliations
  
• Tracking subcontractor costs and funding
  
• Reporting overtime metrics to FAA customers
  
• Working with Task Order Managers on monthly ETC updates and forecasting accuracy
  
• Responding to financial dashboard inquiries
  
• Managing Work Authorization Documents (WADs) and weekly reconciliations
  
• Supporting funding tracking and resolution in collaboration with Subcontracts and Contracts teams
  
• Presenting financial status updates to FAA customers
  
• Setting up charge numbers, reconciling billing lags, and supporting p‑card and FedEx reconciliations
  
• Preparing weekly journal entries (including overhead and travel adjustments)
  
• Supporting ad‑hoc cost reporting and performance analysis

Basic Qualification:

• BA degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with <2 years of experience
  
• Strong financial planning, analysis, and accounting skills
  
• Ability to gather and synthesize data from multiple systems
  
• Problem‑solver with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  
• Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and collaborative
  
• Ability to excel in fast‑paced, remote‑team settings
  
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, v‑lookups, macros)
  
• Experience supporting process or program improvements
  
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust (US Citizen or Green Card Holder with 3+ years residency)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Leidos financial tools and policies (Excel, Costpoint, Oracle Analytic Cloud, Fusion, etc.) In addition:

• Experience presenting financial data to customers
  
• Experience in a matrixed organization
  
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Management Systems, or related field.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
