Job Summary
As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead one of IPEX's largest distribution operations in Canada, overseeing a major warehouse and pipe yard operation that plays a critical role in supporting customers across the region. You will have the opportunity to influence operational performance, inventory accuracy, safety, and service excellence while leading a team committed to continuous improvement and collaboration.

Principal Responsibilities
Lead the overall performance of the Edmonton distribution operation, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of products while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Develop and inspire a team of supervisors and employees by fostering a collaborative, engaged, and high-performing culture that supports both individual and operational success.
Drive operational excellence by establishing clear performance objectives, monitoring key metrics, and implementing improvements that enhance productivity, service levels, and quality outcomes.
Optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse performance through effective inventory controls, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business and customer needs.
Champion health and safety programs and regulatory compliance, creating an environment where employees can perform their best while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams across transportation, production, procurement, deployment, and customer service to ensure seamless execution, operational alignment, and achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Completion of a college diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience within distribution, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or related operations environments.
Experience working in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with inventory management, KPI reporting, budgeting, and operational analysis.
Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in an RF environment and SAP is considered an asset.
Successful completion of a C-TPAT background check is required.
