POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a full-time Specialist to join our Disability Services department. The Accommodations Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for examinees requesting test accommodations for the United States Medical Licensing Examination® (USMLE) Program, and for certain other health profession examinations. The Specialist is responsible for guiding examinees through the request process by providing superior customer service in the form of frequent detailed telephone and e-mail communication of policies and procedures, and individualized written correspondence regarding each examinee's specific request.

This role has been designated as primarily remote, meaning it requires little to no onsite attendance. While this role can be designated as remote, you are offered the flexibility to select if you prefer to work primarily remotely, hybrid, or onsite. We're open to considering candidates in the following states: PA, NJ, DE, MD, and WV. Please note that onsite interviews and onboarding at our Philadelphia office may be required for this role. If applicable, advance notice will be provided to support planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and maintain large volumes of confidential information and paperwork received from examinees and securely maintain electronic and hard copy files.
- Provide excellent and extensive customer service via telephone and written correspondence, and appropriately and effectively communicate exam program Guidelines and departmental procedures regarding requests for test accommodations.
- Carefully track and monitor status of each file in assigned caseload and facilitate communication between internal departments as needed.
- Coordinate delivery of approved test accommodations with internal and external contacts and efficiently troubleshoot problems if they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, MS Word, and Excel), with a firm understanding of data management
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a professional work environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience

Compensation we are offering for this position is at $50,981 - $60,000/year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
