Description
- Lead daily security briefings to ensure all team members are informed and prepared.
- Schedule security shifts to maintain consistent security coverage.
- Conduct routine patrols to maintain a visible security presence.
- Report incidents to Security management to keep management informed of security events.
- Respond to all security breaches to ensure swift and effective incident resolution
- Evaluate guard performance on a regular basis to ensure high standards of security personnel
- Conduct safety drills to prepare staff for emergency situations.
- Maintain security equipment to ensure all equipment is operational.
- Document daily security activities to provide a record for analysis and improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Implement risk, governance and compliance policies and processes effectively to identify and manage exposure to risks
- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Ensure that the individual performance management discussions are completed within the policy guidelines, recorded and followed through on personal development areas.
- Maintain a positive work climate and culture to energize employees, give meaning to work, minimize work disruption and maximize employee productivity.
- Provide training and supervision to security guards, ensuring they understand operational procedures, equipment handling, and safety practices.
Minimum Experience:
- 3 - 5 years experience, including a track record of 2 years in Security Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP)
