Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a Project Coordinator in the Fort Wayne, IN office. In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of project management and project administration duties with the Fire Protection Special Hazards/Fire Alarm team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Special Hazards/Fire Alarm designer, project manager, and estimating personnel as needed.
- Use Project Manager program.
- Use customer portals like Procore, Building Connected, etc. for file transfer
- Create project-specific equipment submittal documents.
- Document submittals.
- Maintain document retention strategy for retaining hard and electronic copies of test paperwork and other essential documents.
- Work with general contractors on submittals.
- Coordinating outing events for the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- This position requires a proficiency in computer usage above basic Microsoft Office & Windows Skills. Must be tech savvy
- Experience with construction document submittal software and processes is a plus.
- Must be able to retain training in an organized fashion to be successful.
- Good understanding of Excel Spreadsheets and Creating of Tables.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience.
- Experience in construction administration preferred.
- Proven experience in multi-tasking and doing several difficult tasks at once - incoming calls, scheduling, internal personnel, emails, tracking down information, etc.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must be organized, self-motivated and a strong work ethic.
- Professionalism in email and over the phone
- Must be able to maintain a confidential work ethic.
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
