Material Handler

This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the POP warehouse by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of store signage material. The successful candidate will operate warehouse equipment, verify inventory and documentation, and utilize warehouse management systems.  This position requires a flexible, team-oriented individual who is committed to safety, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety standards.

• Cross-train and support multiple POP warehouse operations.

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Ensure inventory accuracy by validating merchandise and documentation.

• Update and maintain records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems and improve processes.

• Adapt to changing business needs and support special projects as required.

What You'll Have:

• Previous warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics experience is an asset.

• Strong commitment to health and safety practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF technology is an asset.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving merchandise.

Our typical hiring range is between $20.50 and $22.75. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
