Practice type: Small Animal General Practice

Avg. daily patient volume: Moderate daily caseload with a strong mix of wellness and medical appointments

Support staff ratio: Strong technician and support staff support

Case mix: Wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, dermatology, laser therapy, and client education

Technology & equipment: Digital radiography, in house diagnostics, surgical suite, dental capabilities, laser therapy, and modern patient monitoring equipment

Team culture: Collaborative, community focused, mentorship driven, and patient centered with an emphasis on compassionate care and strong client relationships

Skills Necessary for Success

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities

• Excellent clinical judgment and medical decision making

• Ability to foster trust, collaboration, and accountability across the hospital team

• Strong time management, prioritization, and delegation skills

• Commitment to professionalism, medical excellence, and continuous improvement

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required

• Active licensure without restrictions in the state of Michigan or ability to obtain licensure
