Job Description

As a Security Officer Digital Badge Records in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity while providing exceptional customer service. Using computer or tablet-based systems, you will support a professional environment, help deter unauthorized access, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing access credentials as authorized, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Observe access points, lobby areas, and other assigned locations for unusual activity, prohibited items, or policy violations, and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document activities and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
