Working Student (d/f/m) Digitalization Officer for Programme Management

You have a unique chance to participate, learn and grow in the full development cycle of European Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), aka Eurodrone.

The Eurodrone Program, which is led by Airbus as Prime Contractor in front of the customer (OCCAR: Organisation Conjointe de Coopération en matière d’Armement) and accounts several sub-contractors and suppliers across Europe, is organized in multi-disciplinary Delivery Teams (DTs) ensuring a cross-national, cross-company multi-functional integration and delivery of sub-products. In the specific case of this position, the focus will be primarily on the core business of the MAGiCS Team e.g. the operational components of Eurodrone: Mission, Armament, Ground Control Station, Human Machine Interface and Human Factors Engineering. Efficiency of the development cycle is supported by a plateau located in Ingolstadt (Manching site) where all key actors are cooperating under one roof. 

We are seeking a highly motivated working student to join our team of DT MAGiCS as a Digitalization Officer for Programme Management. As the Digitalization Officer for Programme Management, you will be responsible for digitalizing the project management environment using Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint. This includes setting up workflows,creating and assigning tasks, tracking progress, and mastering the challenge of artificial intelligence within Jira. You will work closely with the project manager and the rest of the project team to ensure that the project is delivered on time, on cost, and on quality.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Digitalize the project management environment using Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and identify potential improvement areas.

• Set up workflows, create and assign tasks, and track progress using Jira.

• Master the challenge of artificial intelligence within Jira.

• Support the Delivery Team Lead and the project managers as needed in project tracking.

• Contribute in reporting activities to make them leaner and more valuable.

• Participate and contribute to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) routines as Program Increments (PI) planning, Product Owners sync, Systems Demos, Weekly/Daily stand-ups, Retrospectives, etc.

• Discover Performance Management routines and promote best practices.

 

 Desired skills and qualifications

• Currently full time enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, engineering, or computer science) with a strong interest in project management and digitalization.

• Reliable, adaptable, independent with a hands-on mindset, personal initiative and practical problem solving.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Good organization skills, with Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint is a plus.Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be a plus.

• Very good English skills (written and verbal), another Eurodrone language would be a plus (e.g. German / Spanish / Italian / French).
