Description
You are a seasoned Ops Engineer/Linux Administrator/Platform Engineer, seen as the go-to expert by colleagues. You have the commitment to continuously increase your own expertise while actively promoting the growth and development of your colleagues. As an Ops Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of monitoring, managing, testing, deploying, and operating applications. You observe their technical behaviour and performance across all facets. Your proactive approach will involve identifying and addressing operational issues while spearheading the ongoing enhancement of deployment automation through our Azure pipelines. Embracing the DevOps philosophy, we prioritize the delivery of high-quality, mission-critical software within set timelines, utilizing iterative development methodologies. With regular milestone demos to the business, we ensure alignment and minimize surprises.

Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Linux Administrator:
A team player that is passionate, focused on quality and continuous improvement and proud of what delivers.
You can design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
You can challenge the status quo and offer improvements that lead to higher quality/ease of use/maintainability/etc.
Contribute to automating build, test, and deployment practices through CI/CD pipelines.
Experience and abilities in coaching and mentoring other squad members, including providing guidance, sharing knowledge and promoting a cooperative team environment.
Participate in Root Cause Analyses and help implement improvements.

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
Good experience in Linux commands and bash scripting
Knowledge of continuous delivery using tools such as Azure DevOps
Experience with Ansible
Understanding of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/JDBC
Understanding messaging platforms: Kafka, EMS, MQ, Apache Pulsar
Experience with Unit, Integration, Regression testing
Good knowledge on relational database i.e. Oracle Database
You have a pro-active and hands-on attitude; you speak up about your ideas.
Good communication skills in English
