Elite Touch Group are excited to be working with their well-established client, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor to join their busy Litigation team based at their Christchurch office.

 

About the Role

 

We are seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join our dynamic and client‑focused Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters, work closely with clients, and contribute to the continued growth of the department. The role suits someone with strong analytical skills, confident communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·        Managing a mixed litigation caseload including contractual disputes, property litigation, debt recovery, professional negligence, and injunctions.

·        Providing clear, strategic legal advice to clients on merits, risks, and potential outcomes.

·        Drafting pleadings and legal documents such as statements of case, witness evidence, applications, and settlement agreements.

·        Conducting advocacy at interim hearings where appropriate and liaising with counsel for complex matters.

·        Engaging in negotiation and ADR to achieve cost‑effective resolutions.

·        Maintaining excellent client care through regular communication and proactive case progression.

·        Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules, SRA Code of Conduct, and internal risk‑management processes.

 

About You

·        Qualified Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE or similar), though all levels will be considered

·        Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines

·        Excellent written and verbal communication

·        Confident decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities

·        A proactive, professional, and client‑focused approach

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

 

 

The Package:

 

This position is a permanent full-time role. Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch which equates to a 35-hour week. We offer an attractive salary which will be based on individual’s qualifications and experience.
