Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the general accounting staff and general ledger accounting of the non-Ambulatory entities [EHICH (10), EHQVH (11), EHFPH (12), EHF (19), EH HHA (21) and EH (40)] as well as Ambulatory entities [EHMG (50), EHIPA (51), EH Imaging (52), EH Faculty (53), EHMSO (60) and MCF (70)]. In addition, the Accounting Manager will prepare the monthly financial reporting and board meeting package of EHIPA (51). The Accounting Manager leads the accounting staff, provides supervision, participates in performance evaluations, identifies process deficiencies, coordinates process improvements and identifies training needs.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree required.

Minimum Experience Requirement :

Five years of accounting experience required. Three healthcare accounting related experience required. Some supervisory experience is required. Advanced Spreadsheet skills are required. Excellent detail orientation; communication skills. Excellent customer service skills required.
