The Marketing Associate role at Baxter Canada is a multi faceted, bilingual, communications, digital marketing, and commercial support accelerator position, offering expertise in Digital Health to local marketing teams while helping lead key country communications across internal and external audiences. Digital Marketing involves optimizing commercial strategies, to drive sales growth, marketing efficiency, both internal and external customer engagement, and clear facing communications leadership and support across Canadian business priorities. This includes the use of online platforms, channels, and strategies to promote Baxter’s products and services, reach target audiences, strengthen customer-facing communications, support brand awareness, and enable business growth through service-related initiatives such as renewals management.
Critical skills include Search Engine Optimization, including AI SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, online advertising, executive-ready communications, and the ability to translate business priorities into clear internal and external messaging. Key support involves completing new resources, tools, and expertise provided to marketers to optimize their digital marketing campaigns, strengthen country-level communications, and support customer-facing initiatives that may extend beyond traditional digital marketing when aligned to commercial priorities. These responsibilities highlight the role's focus on digital content management, collaboration with business units, continuous partnership with Global Corporate & Digital Marketing teams, country communications leadership, and the promotion of innovative marketing strategies that help enable service growth and customer retention.

- This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements of 3 days per week.
What you'll be doing
- Provide marketing support for market research initiatives and customer events. Help develop and analyze customer surveys; research competitors, clinical practices, and customer behaviors for team insights.
- Support and help lead key country communications, including internal updates, external-facing messaging, customer communications, and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, accuracy, and timely execution. Collaborate with the Marketing team to lead all aspects of the Education Portal, including refreshing learning materials and maintaining content to keep it current and pertinent.
- Work with Commercial Perfection and Global Corporate Marketing to get access to, review and present key digital marketing metrics across Canadian assets (i.e. Education Portal, Coordinated Campaigns. Run and refresh Baxter Canada's LinkedIn pages to get along with the professional community and advocate for Baxter's initiatives.
- Be responsible for the project execution and scaling of customer-facing portals. Provide flexible customer-facing marketing and commercial support where needed, including tasks that may not traditionally sit within digital marketing but directly support customer engagement, service growth, renewals management, and retention priorities.
- Work closely with different departments on a range of ongoing projects that include third-party vendors, like leading all aspects of the creation and upkeep of micro-sites. Collaborate with Corporate Marketing leads to stay informed about martech (Marketing Technology) platforms being supported at Baxter or equivalent experience.
- Partner with Marketing leads in the planning and execution of education campaigns and boost initiatives. Partner with Service, Commercial, and Marketing stakeholders to support renewals-related communications, customer follow-up materials, and growth initiatives that help improve customer retention and identify service expansion opportunities.
- Conduct presentations and training sessions for marketing teams on how to systematically initiate events, webinars, and LinkedIn publications. Provide crucial information and resources to marketing colleagues, including helpful marketing utilities, activities, and tools available at Baxter. Ongoing monitoring and mentorship of campaigns with marketing leaders and corporate marketing. Nurturing use of data driven iterative campaigns. Pulling data to be able to answer questions asked (like traffic to our site/adoption rates, etc.).
What you'll bring
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in marketing or digital support is needed.
- Experience with marketing support, customer engagement, communications coordination, research and analysis, innovation in digital marketing strategies, operations support, and commercially oriented initiatives (i.e. contracts management, customer facing engagements, revenue growth initiatives, etc.)
- Very strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear, audience-appropriate messaging for internal stakeholders, external audiences, and customer-facing needs, with minimal direction.
- Fluency in both English and French strongly preferred.
- Collaboration and organizational skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is $72,080 - $108,120 annually, which reflects base salary as well as estimated target payout under the Management Incentive Compensation Plan. Individual pay will be determined based upon skills, expertise and experience, and the incentive, which is contingent upon company and individual performance outcomes.
