Description

SEI is looking for an individual to lead SEI’s global People Development function and build a modern learning ecosystem that advances enterprise capability, leadership effectiveness, career growth, and workforce readiness in an AI-enabled future.

What you will do:

  • Set and execute the global People Development strategy, aligned to business priorities, talent strategy, leadership needs, and critical enterprise capabilities.
  • Modernize learning through adult learning principles, learning experience design, digital enablement, experiential development, and learning in the flow of work.
  • Use AI-aware approaches to personalize learning, accelerate skill building, enhance content design, and improve measurement without losing the human-centered purpose of development.
  • Lead, coach, and scale a global learning and development team with strong standards for design quality, execution, stakeholder partnership, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build global capability strategies, leadership development programs, career development pathways, academies, and scalable learning journeys.
  • Partner consultatively with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and COEs to diagnose capability gaps and translate needs into practical development solutions.
  • Apply strong instructional design and learning design principles, including needs analysis, audience segmentation, outcome-based design, learning transfer, reinforcement, and measurement.
  • Establish a consistent operating model for program intake, prioritization, design standards, vendor management, governance, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Advance learning technology, data, and AI-enabled tools to improve learner experience, content relevance, skills visibility, adoption, and business impact.
  • Define and report meaningful metrics, including effectiveness, adoption, learning transfer, employee growth, leadership readiness, and capability progress.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, coaching, and accountability across the enterprise.

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in learning and development, people development, organizational development, or talent development.
  • Demonstrated success leading an L&D or People Development team at a global level, including strategy, execution, team leadership, and stakeholder management.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, leadership development, learning experience design, and modern workforce capability building.
  • Experience building enterprise learning strategies, corporate academies, leadership programs, skills-based learning pathways, or global learning ecosystems.
  • AI aware and confident evaluating how emerging technologies can improve learning design, access, personalization, productivity, and measurement.
  • Strong executive presence, consultative mindset, business acumen, and ability to influence leaders through credibility, insight, and practical solutions.
