Description
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our client's team.
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, delivery, and closure of multiple projects within agreed budgets, quality standards, timelines, and contractual requirements. The role requires effective coordination between clients, internal departments, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams. The successful candidate will take ownership of project performance, financial control, risk management, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, resources, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and potential risks.
- Manage project execution from initial planning through completion, ensuring deadlines, customer requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor project expenditure, purchasing, material costs, variations, billing, profitability, and Works in Progress records.
- Coordinate internal teams, clients, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, technical standards, health and safety legislation, client-specific requirements, and applicable quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Maltese engineering warrant, or currently working towards obtaining the warrant.
- A minimum of 3–4 years of project management experience, preferably within mechanical engineering, fire safety, security systems, or a related technical field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organisational, financial management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Valid Maltese driving licence and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
