Test Engineer

📍 Location: Hyderabad 🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Test Engineer to help ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products through thoughtful test design, robust automation frameworks, and strong cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you'll write code and scripts, identify the right tools for functional and non-functional testing, and actively contribute to the build pipeline and quality standards that keep our products reliable and performant.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

• Develop and maintain complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure the holistic quality of the software.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the delivery pipeline — including test automation frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security — while influencing standards for planning, work estimation, peer reviews, and test design.
• Lead verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, providing recommendations, and managing performance metrics, defects, test cases, and test results within the team.
• Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends — identify and implement better test tools and automation methodologies, analyze and report test results, and provide continuous improvement guidance to teams.
• Complete complex peer code reviews for test automation code, research escalations for production issues to ensure application stability, and assess the business value and broader impact of software changes when designing automated tests.
• Mentor, coach, and train team members, provide constructive feedback on technical abilities, and contribute to the prioritization of the team backlog based on quality insights and risk assessment.

Role Essentials

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with significant experience across all phases of the test lifecycle.
• Significant experience with test design, test automation, continuous integration tools, and build environments and delivery pipelines, with strong proficiency in Windows/Linux platforms and multiple scripting tools.
• Experience with software application testing tools, methodologies, process frameworks, source control systems, and database technology.
• Experience with Agile frameworks and demonstrated experience with regression testing across complex software environments.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
