We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who shares our values to join our team as an Accounts Clerk. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to accuracy. In this role, you will play a key part in our accounting operations, ensuring all sales and cash receipts are recorded accurately in the Company’s accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter invoices, debit and credit notes accurately into the accounting system
Reconcile suppliers' accounts and request supplier statements
Update staff members' accounts
Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices
Assist with various account reconciliations
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors and/or managers
REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing a recognized accounting qualification (at least Level 1 ACCA or near completion CAT) or an Associates Degree in Business
Five (5) subjects at CSEC General proficiency inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
At least one (1) year working in an accounts environment is preferred.
Computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Capable of performing accurate mathematical calculations.
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Good interpersonal and communication skills
