AI and Business Management - Assistant Vice President

About the Role

iCapital Network is seeking an AI and Business Management, Assistant Vice President to join the International Client Solutions Asia Pacific team, supporting the execution of strategic and AI-driven initiatives across the region. In this role, the AVP will be an integral part of the APAC Client Solutions Team, supporting the key growth and expansion initiatives across iCapital's Asia business. This role will play a pivotal role in helping to scale the business and driving the next phase of accelerated growth. iCapital’s rapid international expansion offers a strong opportunity for an early-career professional to build deep analytical and AI skills while contributing to impactful, real-world projects. This role will be based in Hong Kong and will collaborate closely with regional and global teams. 

Responsibilities 

• Support the design, creation, and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
• Lead strategic planning and provide recommendations on market penetration, client targeting, prospective acquisition targets and product delivery across key markets.
• Develop and optimize reporting frameworks to drive better decisions with data-informed insights.
• Execute strategic initiatives to drive growth across APAC markets, including business forecasting and process improvement.
• Mobilize cross-functional teams around critical objectives and opportunities.
• Analyze industry trends from the Asset- and Wealth Management landscape and present key findings to senior management.
• Research and write papers and presentations in a variety of formats and support Senior APAC Leadership in the preparation of speeches and speaking notes for panel discussions.
• Prepare regular business updates on the APAC business for senior management.
• Act as the analytics partner and present insights to non-technical stakeholders and advise on metric tracking and instrumentation improvements. 
• Support the execution of key strategic and AI initiatives to drive business growth by consulting, partnering and collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Qualifications 

• Strong academic credentials in Finance or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant working experience in consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy or business management role; 1 - 2 years of operating experience at hypergrowth start-up preferred.
• Strong understanding of finance and ability to roll up your sleeves on analytical work.
• Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions including the ability to structure problems for analysis and synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner.
• Demonstrated ability to establish long-term cross-functional connections between different parts of the business.
• Comfort with challenging the status quo and ability to think outside of the box to solve problems.
• Deep understanding and experience within Asset- and Wealth Management industries, ideally with exposure to Private Markets.
• Exposure to analytics automation, AI-enabled tools, or machine-learning concepts is a plus, with curiosity and willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, and/or Korean a plus
• Experience with Salesforce also a plus
