IT Project Manager - Applications

My client, a leading financial services provider is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex application migration initiatives. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

What you'll do

• Orchestrate complex application migrations, managing project lifecycles from initial planning through to successful deployment.
• Align cross-functional internal teams, IT departments, and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee financial health by managing budgets, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost-control measures.
• Proactively manage risks through structured registers and mitigation strategies to prevent scope creep or schedule delays.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to internal governance frameworks and security-by-design compliance standards.

The experience and skills needed

• 4+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on application revamps in private cloud and PaaS environments.
• Proven ability to lead medium-sized teams and manage complex vendor relationships effectively.
• Technical familiarity with implementing CI/CD pipelines and secure-by-design principles.
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous project requirements.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate fluently across all organizational levels.
