Assembler 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Assembler 2nd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 + $2.50 shift premium per hour. The hours for this shift are 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

## What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking an Assembler-I to join our 2nd Shift team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.

Key Processes May Include:

• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty assembly operations while maintaining established quality and production standards.
• Conduct Hi-Pot and functional testing to verify product performance, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Operate epoxy injection molding equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform manufacturing activities within a clean room environment while adhering to cleanliness and contamination control standards.

What you’ll do:

• Follow established work instructions, procedures, and safety standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Set up and organize workstations to support safe, effective assembly operations while working independently or as part of a team.
• Accurately complete production documentation, record labor transactions, verify production completion, and move finished products to designated staging areas.
• Inspect components for defects, make necessary adjustments, and communicate quality or production concerns to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to obtain guidance, resolve issues, and support production needs.
• Assist Quality and Engineering teams with troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to new product development and process improvements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum six (6) months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of trade training (or equivalent experience) in soldering and brazing techniques, electronic terminology and symbols, and electrical circuits and electronics.

• Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and perform a variety of functions within the department.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, with the ability to utilize enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and any shift as needed.
• Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 48lbs and push/pull 48 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
