Operations Manager

Chick-fil-A Ponce & Boulevard is seeking a highly disciplined, organized, and results-driven Operations Manager who can lead people, execute systems, and create an environment where operational excellence happens consistently.

This position is for a leader who takes ownership, anticipates challenges, holds others accountable, and knows how to turn expectations into results.

Our Operations Manager serves as a key partner to the Director of Operations and must be fully capable of leading the restaurant when the Director is not present.

We are not simply looking for someone who can run a shift. We are looking for someone who can lead an operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Execution

• Create an effective operational setup before each daypart, ensuring the restaurant is prepared for success.
• Evaluate staffing, deployment, break schedules, food preparation, and operational readiness.
• Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure alignment and strong execution.
• Identify potential operational challenges and proactively implement solutions.
• Ensure daily systems, checklists, cleaning, and operational processes are completed on time.
• Maintain consistent food safety, quality, cleanliness, and guest experience standards.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop Shift Leaders and emerging operational leaders.
• Establish clear expectations and hold leaders accountable for performance.
• Provide immediate, constructive feedback and recognize strong execution.
• Develop leaders who can make sound decisions and solve problems independently.
• Build a culture of discipline, teamwork, ownership, and follow-through.

Business Performance & Results

• Actively manage labor, productivity, and team deployment throughout the day.
• Monitor operational performance, including speed of service, order accuracy, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Understand how daily execution impacts sales, transactions, profitability, and team member experience.
• Identify performance gaps and execute corrective action plans.
• Ensure consistent execution of restaurant systems and operational priorities.

Director of Operations Support

• Partner closely with the Director of Operations to execute restaurant priorities and initiatives.
• Follow up on assignments, verify completion, and communicate operational concerns.
• Provide meaningful feedback on team performance, leadership effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as the acting Director of Operations when needed, providing leadership, accountability, and operational direction.
