Director of Technology
Internationally Focused Nonprofit
Remote - Anywhere in the United States
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience

Terrific remote Director of Technology position with an internationally focused nonprofit. The Director of Technology will serve as a hands on technical leader that will work to improve platforms and provide relevant data to staff, donors, and other relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a builder while also providing leadership to one direct report and a consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ownership over the health and architecture of digital platforms
- Maintain and build new features utilizing PHP, React, and WordPress
- Ensure that the technology serves those supporting the mission as well as those working for the organization
- Own the organization's data architecture and translate data into information for donors and staff
- Integrate AI and ML in ways that serve the organization's mission
- Oversee the Salesforce consultant and the full stack engineer
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant software development experience including time leading teams or projects
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in a nonprofit, international development or WASH setting is a plus
- Demonstrated experience using PHP, JavaScript, and React, experience with WordPress and Salesforce a plus
- Experience applying AI and ML to production
- Ability to work in a remote setting with a geographically dispersed team
