Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Oversight in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and contractors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate entry, exit, and visitor records.
• Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
