Description
Work Location: Miri / Bintulu
Contract Duration: 12 months
Qualification:
- Recognised Degree in Civil, Structural, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 3 years in a similar position.
- Must be a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or an equivalent internationally recognised professional engineering institution.
- Experience in engineering and design of offshore topside facilities is required.
Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Perform detailed civil and structural engineering design for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, design specifications, and process safety reports as required.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of design activities.
- Provide technical support and resolve civil and structural engineering issues throughout project execution.
Professional skill
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering design for oil and gas facilities.
- Proficient in engineering calculations, design specifications, and technical documentation.
- Familiar with applicable engineering codes, industry standards, and process safety requirements.
