Description
We're looking for a Regional Operations Director to lead our Textiles DACH's operations organization, reporting to the Managing Director. You'll take full ownership of the region's P&L, cash flow and working capital, lead a multi-site team across laundries, customer care and logistics, and act as an authorized signatory (Prokurist) for the business DACH's legal entities. It's a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to build a lean, commercially strong operation and grow it.

What You'll Do
Leadership & people
- Supervise the DACH management team: performance management, talent management and succession planning
- Own health & safety: deployment, continuous improvement and enforcement of H&S processes, including the relevant legal responsibilities
- Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding and retention
- Lead training plans to build strong competence levels among laundry operators and technicians
Financial performance
- Own the P&L, identify cost improvement opportunities and maximise revenue
- Manage working capital: accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory
- Build the annual budget and provide monthly forecasts with your Finance business partner
Commercial growth
- Support the sales team in hitting growth targets and building action plans
- Build and maintain close relationships with key and target accounts
- Work with Marketing and Product Management to shape service design
- Develop and continuously improve a sales and operations planning process
Operational excellence
- Lead the lean conversion of laundries (5S, Standard Work, Pull/Kanban, DPM)
- Build a lean, value-focused process framework for operational and commercial excellence
- Ensure compliance with QESH quality procedures and other relevant standards
Governance & strategy
- Act as a member of the Textiles Business Leadership Team
- Lead monthly Level 3 Operations Reviews; participate in Level 2 reviews
- Participate in the annual strategy process, including Value Creation Plan reviews
- Translate CWS Cleanrooms' strategy into a cascaded Textiles Business DACH strategy
- Serve as a registered Director (Managing Director or Prokurist) for Textiles DACH legal entities
What We're Looking For
- MBA or similar degree
- At least 5 years leading a manufacturing organisation with 200+ employees
- At least 3 years' experience building continuous improvement cultures and deploying relevant tools in manufacturing; a formal qualification (e.g. Master Black Belt, Certified Practitioner, or similar) is a plus
- A proven track record in B2B business development
- Experience with global GMP standards or comparable quality standards is a plus
- Fluent in English and German; other languages welcome
- Willing to travel 40–60%
