Description
The Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative serves as a key liaison between customers, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and Streamlight's sales organization. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales growth initiatives, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate product solutions, and contribute to achieving departmental sales and customer satisfaction objectives.

- Identify customer requirements and recommend products, solutions, and services that best meet customer needs.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, specifications, and applications to drive customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish, maintain, and update customer accounts and records with a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize company systems and software to perform data entry, order management, and customer account maintenance.
- Support revenue growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and promoting current sales programs and product offerings.
- Resolve customer issues related to orders, pricing, shipping, product availability, and other service-related matters.
- Collaborate effectively with outside sales representatives, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and internal departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Participate in sales training, product training, team meetings, and professional development initiatives.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business practices.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of customer service, inside sales, or sales support experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, or order management systems preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
