Role details
- Job title: IT Infrastructure Support
- Client: Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited.
- Hiring manager: Chris Lam, IT Infrastructure Manager.
- Contract duration: 5 months.
- Working location: Sha Tin Science Park initially, with relocation to Lok Ma Chau in December. Candidates must be comfortable with on-site work and travel between both locations.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., including lunch break, excluding public holidays; hours may be adjusted based on operational needs.
- Expected start date: Tentatively 26 October 2026, subject to client confirmation.
- Tender deadline: October 12
- Interview date: October 13 (at Shatin Science Park)
Key job requirements
Please screen candidates against the following requirements from the RFP
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience: The RFP specifies “at least 4–6 years” in IT infrastructure project coordination, structured cabling implementation and server room/data centre deployment.
- Hands-on experience in server room setup, rack layout design, PDU/cable management, and physical network patching using fibre and copper cabling.
- Proven experience supervising structured cabling contractors, AV/ELV contractors and IT vendors, including monitoring milestones, workmanship and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking, including switches, routers, firewalls and Wi-Fi access points.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, server virtualisation and cloud platforms.
- Strong site coordination, problem-solving and progress-tracking skills, with experience in campus projects, office relocation or new facility fit-outs.
- Strong written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at active development/park facilities and travel frequently between Lok Ma Chau and Science Park.
- CCNA, CDCP, BICSI, ITIL or related certifications would be an advantage.
