Job Description

As a Security Officer EMT Certified Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fairless Hills, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Bring your EMT certification and firefighting experience to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

• Valid Driver's LicenseCandidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

• EMT CertificationCandidates must hold a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is crucial for ensuring that all personnel are equipped to handle medical emergencies effectively.

• Previous Firefighting ExperienceCandidates must have documented previous firefighting experience (C129). This experience is vital for roles that involve direct firefighting duties and responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, rail or shipping areas, and the facility perimeter, as assigned.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
