Job Description

As a Security Guard Access Control in Golden, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and facility procedures. You will help to deter security-related incidents through attentive observation, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access at the front desk, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, issue badges, and direct guests according to established protocols.
• Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and communicate routine and urgent information to appropriate site personnel.
• Observe entry areas and security-related systems, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
