Description
What You Can Expect:
What You’ll Actually Do:
- Own the whole thing. Lead a customer project from kickoff to live, including the design, the build, the rollout and proving it worked.
- Figure out the real problem. Talk to the engineer and business owners, cut through vague asks, and say "that won't help you" when it won't.
- Build real stuff. Write the integrations, data pipelines, services and AI or workflow logic that make our platform work in the official environment.
- Handle the messy parts. Security reviews, access controls, private networks, and old systems with no documentation.
- Fix things when they break. Debug across our platform and the customer's stack, and fix it fast.
- Make the product better. Turn what you see in the field into specific requests, and build reusable tools so the next project goes faster.
- Talk like a human. Explain status, risks and results clearly to engineers and executives, without buzzwords.
- Share what you know. Mentor newer engineers, review their work, and help write the playbooks you wish you'd had.
What You Bring:
What you bring:
We care more about what you've built and how you think than about a perfect checklist. If you match most of this, apply.
- Minimum 5 years building software, including some time working directly with customers or users (forward deployed, solutions engineering, consulting, or a startup where engineers talk to customers).
- Strong skills in Python and experience shipping and running production systems, not only prototypes.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, data integration, SQL and cloud (AWS / Azure).
- Experience working inside strict enterprise environments with security and compliance rules.
- Good judgment on trade-offs: you can explain why you chose a design, what it costs, and when you'd change it.
- Clear writing and speaking, to engineers and executives.
- Ownership: you stay with a problem until it's solved, and you raise risks early.
- Comfort juggling a few projects at once.
