Description
Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a Territory Service Manager to join the team. This role is based in Brampton, ON and includes approximately 25% travel.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000 - $131000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

## What you’ll do:
This role will manage territory service activities to achieve Roadranger Field Marketing (RFM) business objectives. The Territory Service Manager will function as a team with Territory Sales Manager to establish positive customer relationships to ensure profitable + increased market share of Eaton and ECJV products at Fleets and OEM dealers throughout the GTA territory.
Essential Functions:
- Territory Management: Direct face to face service role calling on Truck Fleet end users & all Truck OEM Dealerships. Role will require regular cycling through territory to support growth in the product lines. Develop and maintain effective customer relationships. Develop and implement effective service support strategies at Key and At-Risk Accounts to maintain customer satisfaction and RFM market share. Conduct Customer Relationship Reviews (CRRs) to facilitate continuous improvement of Roadranger products and support. Assess customer requirements and identify unique needs at targeted accounts.
- Technical Support and Training: Truck Components serviced include Large Class 6-8 Manual Transmissions, Automated Mechanical Transmissions, Clutches, Service Diagnostic Software, Lubricants, Greases, & Aftermarket products. Present to audiences of Sales & Service people both technical and non-technical (2-30 people). Provide product, service and warranty training to customers in support of service objectives. Assist with the introduction of new products to ensure rapid product adoption rate. Assume a lead role in the effective implementation of service support during new product introductions.
- Customer Support: Collaborate across the entire RFM organization including Technical Services, Call Center, Aftermarket, and Warranty to facilitate customer satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner and ensure customer policy commitments are processed within 10 days of commitment. Evaluate and administer customer policy requests to maintain customer satisfaction and market share. Establish internal reports on Customer activities, requesting Division involvement where necessary.
- Reporting: Responsible for regular completion of the following internal reports on customer activities: Territory Monthly Report to update organization on business status & significant market trends, etc. and Service Call Reports. Assure reliability, accuracy, and relevancy of data in CRM by inputting data as required. Customer Contact Reports (CCRs) to report out product needs or performance issues, competitive activity, market trends, etc.
- Industry Engagement: Assist in developing and implementing effective territory business plans to support region and divisional objectives while consistently demonstrating efforts to “raise the bar” by establishing, and exceeding, territory stretch goals. Participation in industry functions and trade shows.

## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Journeyman Technician Certification or College diploma or University degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of experience working for a vehicle/heavy equipment manufacturing or distribution company OR 4 years of experience in a vehicle/heavy equipment customer support role.
- MS Office experience, including Excel for creating regular reports
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel up to 25% across Canada and the US
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation provided. This role requires candidates to be based in the Brampton, ON area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Seal certification
- Technical customer support experience
- 5+ years of heavy duty truck experience
- Experience at an OEM dealership
- Technical sales and service background
