About the Role
Do you love turning data into meaningful insights that drive better customer outcomes? We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Customer Remediation, Product Governance & Quality team, where you'll play an important role in supporting customer remediation programs across BOQ Group.
Working closely with remediation specialists, analysts, product owners and key stakeholders across the business, you'll be responsible for extracting, validating and analysing customer and financial data, producing reporting and insights, and supporting decision-making through high-quality analytics.
In this role, you'll analyse customer, account, transaction and financial data to identify customer impacts and support remediation activities. You'll perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data outputs, while developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and analytical solutions that support both business and regulatory requirements. You'll also produce meaningful insights and visualisations that enable informed decision-making, contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives, and help enhance reporting and analytical capabilities across the team.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors will be key to supporting successful project delivery and positive remediation outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and curious professional looking to grow their career in data, governance and customer remediation within a highly collaborative and purpose-driven team.
About You
You're a naturally inquisitive problem solver who enjoys working with complex data and uncovering insights that make a real difference. You have a strong eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes.
You'll bring experience in data analysis, reporting or a related field, along with the ability to translate data into meaningful information for a range of stakeholders. Ideally, you have around two years' experience in data analytics, reporting, financial analysis or a similar role, with exposure to customer, account, transaction or financial data.
You possess strong analytical, problem-solving and data validation skills and have experience using analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, R Studio, DAX, Power BI or similar platforms. You are confident producing reports, dashboards and insights for business stakeholders and have an understanding of data quality, governance and data management principles.
Just as importantly, you're an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships across both technical and non-technical teams. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering accurate, customer-focused outcomes.
Experience within financial services, risk, compliance, operations or customer remediation would be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in candidates who are eager to learn and develop in this space.
If you're looking for a role where you can combine your analytical expertise with meaningful customer outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
