Description

Position Summary

To advance Teach For All’s 25-year vision , we are seeking a Director of Alumni Leadership to catalyze the collective impact of our alumni network across Asia Pacific. This role will lead our efforts to strengthen alumni leadership and build a more connected and influential alumni movement across Asia Pacific, transforming the systems that shape the lives and learning outcomes of children in underserved communities.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and initiative to drive results, leveraging a collaborative approach to consult with network partners and build the resources necessary to strengthen the region’s alumni leadership pipeline.

The ideal candidate is a strategic movement-builder who balances a high-level vision for systems change with the practical ability to mobilize people. You are someone who sees the immense potential of our alumni and possesses the natural ability to connect leaders across borders, turning individual leaders into a unified regional movement. Driven by a deep commitment to educational equity, you are an expert at cultivating leadership in others, communicating complex information, designing group learning journeys, and weaving meaningful relationships. Most importantly, you are a clear-eyed advocate for children, focused on transforming the structures that limit their potential to ensure every student in the region can thrive.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • supporting Teach For All network partner organizations in Asia Pacific with their local alumni strategies through high quality coaching and consulting; fostering peer learning; and developing resources and training to support their organisational work and impact with alumni.
  • driving Teach For All’s strategy to strengthen alumni leadership and connectedness in the Asia Pacific region through devising new programs which develop alumni leadership directly, foster their connectivity and peer learning, and enable their growth as leaders as they learn from and support one another towards greater impact.

This role is part of Teach For All’s Global Alumni Leadership Team, with counterparts in other regions to spread learning and innovation across regions. The role reports to the Head of Alumni Leadership but works in very close -daily- collaboration with colleagues in Teach For All’s Asia Pacific regional team and our global Collective Learning & Consulting team.
