The Opportunity
Step into a newly created Financial Reporting Analyst role supporting the Operations Finance team of one of Australia’s most established food manufacturers. What You’ll Do
- Deliver regular financial reporting and variance analysis across multiple operational cost centres
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by maintaining assumptions, models, and expenditure forecasts
- Investigate cost movements and collaborate with business stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy
- Prepare month-end financial reports, journals, and management commentary
- Analyze overhead spending trends and identify key drivers impacting financial performance
- Translate financial data into clear and actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance reporting quality, consistency, and efficiency
Key Criteria
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar finance role
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost centre reporting
- Experience working within large, complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as SAP; exposure to reporting tools is advantageous
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to convert large datasets into meaningful business insights
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to gather information, challenge assumptions, and build stakeholder relationships
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; CPA or CA studies are advantageous but not essential
Work Setup
- Metro Manila (BGC): Australian business hours (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PHT) with a hybrid setup (1 day onsite, 4 days remote)
